Rent women's costumes
It's not only today that ladies like to dress beautifully. In our costume rental you will find dresses from all eras - here is a small overview of costume history:
In the Stone Age, people dressed in warm furs. Later, Cleopatra dressed more elegantly during the Egyptian period. Then came the Romans with their tunics and togas, followed by the Middle Ages with their pretty damsels. After that, the development of costumes continued rapidly: the Renaissance, marked by new discoveries, followed by the splendid Baroque and Rococo, and the Biedermeier period, marked by crinolines. Shortly before the turn of the 19th century, the economy in Europe flourished. The so-called Gründerzeit (incidentally, the period in which Kostüm Kaiser was founded) also produced beautiful costumes, followed by the Belle Epoque.
You can also rent costumes of the 20th century at our costume rental: Starting with sequined dresses of the Charleston era to the dresses of the 40s, 50s costumes with petticoats, 60s and 70s costumes: from stylish dresses to flower power and hippies, you can rent almost everything that fashion has produced.
A large traditional costume department offers Swiss traditional costumes, other folklore clothing and, of course, dirndls for the Oktoberfest for hire.
