Research and publications
When the goal is to recreate authentic attire from a specific era, our extensive experience and a library of over 2,500 books and brochures play a key role. This has benefited our clients for many years, including individuals, collectors, costume designers, and decorators for theater and film.
What did a stylish Swiss gentleman wear in 1872? How did a woman dress for going out in 1932? In addition to our expertise and general knowledge about different periods, we rely on contemporary documents such as reports, drawings, fashion magazines, and, for more recent periods, photographs. After conducting this research, the appropriate attire can be selected.
Publications
Unlike civilian clothing, uniform details are more precisely defined and documented. After years of research and collaboration with other collectors and experts, notes and sketches have evolved into complete documentation on uniforms. These resources provide crucial information for identifying uniform components and for theatrical or cinematic productions.

Mannequins and their equipment
The attire and armament of the Jura troops occupied our team for 5 years as part of the "Jura Troops Museum" project. We documented this process in a blog. In addition to creating and installing mannequins, we published a book detailing every exhibit piece. The sources for each item are also cited.
